Learn the Art of Relaxation

Life nowadays can be very stressful, with deadlines and pressures at every turn. The team at Vinings Natural Health Centre would like to invite you to come along to a series of weekly sessions to show you different ways of relaxing.

Each Tuesday evening, 7pm – 8pm, starting Tuesday 19th September, a different therapist will share hints, tips and techniques. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to experience different ways of relaxing, to ask any questions you may have, and to find the way that works best for you.

The sessions are free of charge, but places are limited, so we would ask you to reserve in advance, please.

A Level Exam Success at Varndean College 2017

2017 International Biology Olympiad – Video from Awards Dinner

The Royal Society of Biology (RSB) hosted the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) at the University of Warwick last week, which saw 250 students from 64 countries compete in practical and theory examinations. The event was held between 23-30 July 2017. 

The video below gives a flavour of the many activities that took place during the week, which included a cultural evening, a traditional UK sports day, a ‘Zombie Science’ science communication show, a trip to Warwick castle and a science ceilidh.

The UK team of four were awarded 2 bronze, 1 silver and 1 gold medal at the awards ceremony which took place during a lavish closing dinner on Saturday night.
